With over 40 years as broker, developer, investor and advisor in residential, commercial and hospitality market segments Lloyd Silverman established LSA in1999. Expansion included offices in San Francisco and New York. Complimenting that growth we have attracted a very carefully selected group of top tier advisors to custom tailor services specific to the varied requirements of our diverse clientele in a complicated and ever changing global marketplace .
Following a successful career in commercial real estate at the firm of Julian J. Studley (now Saviles/Studley) as an original member of the National Investment Sales Division working closely with Studley partner, Harry Helmsley on the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and the Westside train yards (now Riverside Park) development project, Lloyd chose to pivot and pursue his passion for design, sales and residential development in NYC.
As VP of Penson Development following Studley, he managed some of the very first luxury loft conversions in NYC while also managing the building of the 23-story luxury condo L'Isola at 157 East 32nd St..
Named EVP of Foreston Development, Lloyd oversaw the development, design and build of the 22 story, 36 unit condo, Le'Chambord at 350 East 72nd St, followed by another Costas Kondylis designed conversion at the 23 story 1049 Fifth Avenue on the corner of 5th Avenue and 86th St., at the time the only condo on the famed Fifth Avenue.
Foreston moved east and developed the 18 home luxury community Hunter's Run in Manorville, Long Island (gateway to the Hamptons) followed by another successful community, Quail Ridge. Always building to the very top of the market, all homes sat on over an acre and provided swimming pool and tennis court.
In 1990 with the collapse of the New York Real Estate market Lloyd relocated to Los Angeles and on to a successful career as a feature film producer at Universal Pictures where he, among others, Executive Produced the Academy Award nominated film Snow Falling on Cedars.
In 2008 Lloyd now living in Tiburon, CA. was recruited out of semi retirement by the Global Luxury Division of Coldwell Banker in San Francisco as Sr. Global Advisor to expand international presence and counsel other agents on the nuances of both residential and commercial deal structure, content design and marketing strategies.
Lloyd returned to New York as Sr. Global Strategy Advisor at Compass and independently through his company Lloyd Silverman & Associates serves as advisor to a select list of exclusive investor, agency and development clients.
